This shot was taken during the full rehearsal. It was difficult to photograph because I found myself stopping and getting lost in the wonderful production. The talent and professionalism these kids showed was every good as any play I have ever seen. Not to be outdone by my good friend Mark Hamilton I headed to our park. Mark had shot this in Ashland Community Park and Ashland Kentucy and I had it in mind while heading out. He also had shot this shot of a person setting on a bench in the snow. So both were the inspiration of this shot. I was also thinking of a blog entry about Shutter Speed and set the camera on a high shutter speed in an attempt to freeze some of the snow and create a mood. After I thawed out I decided it was worth the exposure to the elements and I like the shot and how it turned out.
